Noted lawyer and television personality Naeem Bukhari has decided to join Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), reported local media on Saturday.

According to the reports he is scheduled to join hands with PTI’s chief Imran Khan later in the evening today.

He will announce his political debut in a press conference jointly with Imran Khan.

Naeem Bukhari has been hosting a talk show on Pakistan premier channel Geo Tv. He interviewed Imran Khan during his work at the same show ‘Khabarnak’.

His open letter against Chief Justice Iftikhar Mohammed Chaudhry published on Feb 16, 2007 created a controversy. This helped lead to the eventual dismissal of the Chief Justice by President Pervez Musharraf.
