What is the importance of ''DESI GHEE''?
What do you think about its consumption? Would it lead us towards serious health issues?
In my opinion, Desi Ghee is safe as compared to the banaspati ghee that we use on daily basis. We must make it a part of our diet. At least one must consume it on weekly basis.
At least, desi ghee remains in liquid state at room temperature. This is not the situation with other ghee that we consume.
We need 15 percent saturated fat according to the direction of FDA. One tea spoon of desi ghee can provide that amount of saturated fat. So, it is not advisable to cross this limit.
We must cut down other sources of saturated fat while consuming desi ghee. We must not eat all the sources simultaneously so that we may not cross the safe limit.
