I am in love with books and I do not hesitate to spend in this connection.

My friends are always in search of some free reading stuff and they know that I have a good collection of books on different topics. So, they want an access to my library but I do not entertain all the requests in this connection.

My friends do not take care of books so I have to keep all my books locked at a place far away from my friends.

It may seem inappropriate but all this is done with an intention to protect the books from any sort of abuse.

What will you do if you were in my position?

I am also very possessive about my books. If I know a person will not take care of my books, I am very reluctant to lend them. Books in Pakistan are very expensive even in old and used book shops or difficult to find so I agree with you that those people who cannot take care of books should not borrow it from others.
