Unknown persons tear apart Mustafa Kamal's posters in Karachi

Some unidentified persons tore apart the posters of former Karachi nazim Mustafa Kamal in Karachi today (Wednesday).

The banners and posters were put up in Gulistan-e-Johar area last night.



Kamal had disassociated himself from the Muttahida Qaumi Momvement (MQM) and formed his own Pak Sarzameen Party (PSP) in March this year. Since then, he has bombarded the MQM chief with numerous allegations including his links with Indian intelligence agency RAW.

On the other hand, unknown people put up banners against Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) founder in different areas of the metropolis today.

“Jo Mulk Ka Ghaddaar Hai, Wo Maut Ka Haqdaar Hai (country’s traitor deserves death),” reads the banner.

Earlier on Monday, unknown persons had placed threatening banners in different parts of the city.

The banners stated: “Jo Quaid-e-Tehreek ka ghaddar, who maut ka haqdar (Quaid’s traitor deserves death).”

Posters and banners bearing the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain’s image and the party’s flags have already been taken down at the party’s Nine Zero headquarters and various areas of Karachi, as well as in parts of Hyderabad and Sukkur after Altaf and his supporters chanted anti-Pakistan slogans and attacked media houses last month.

MQM offices have been sealed across Karachi and dozens of illegal offices have been razed after the law enforcement agencies launched crackdown against the culprits.
