Media houses attacked through proper planning: Rangers DG

Rangers Director General (DG) Major General Bilal Akbar stated on Monday that Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) founder provoked his party workers by making statements against the country and forced them to attack media houses, reported Dunya News.

While conversing with the media, Rangers DG stated that the attack on media houses on August 22 was carried out after proper planning, further adding that MQM workers were behind carrying out the attacks.

Major General Bilal stated that MQM founder provoked the individuals associated with his party for the attack, further stating that 6 MQM workers involved in the attacks have been arrested till now who have given names of other accomplices.

Rangers DG said that the arrested culprits were being handed over to the police so that they may be presented in the court.
