LEAs detain suspect involved in Amjad Sabri murder case

Law enforcement agencies on Monday detained a suspect named Shahzad Mullah who was involved in the murder of renowned Qawwali singer Amjad Sabri. The detained suspect was also being interrogated about target killing incidents in the city, reported Dunya News.

Sources indicate that Mullah was the sector in-charge of a political party and was given the task of murdering Sabri by an important person of the party. Sources state that the element of extortion may be involved in the murder case.
