Pakistan on Friday signed an contract with Qatar for the trade in of watery Natural Gas (LNG) in order to shrink the cost of power generation.
Discussion to media legislature in Islamabad, Federal priest for Petroleum and Natural Resources Shahid Khaqan Abbasi thought that the first consignment of LNG will reach Pakistan by the finish of March.
He claimed the power generation price through LNG will reduce by 40 per cent as compared to diesel.
The Minister also said that the LNG trade in price will be submitted previous to the trade and industry Coordination Committee (ECC) for approval.
