gift of food

why is that some are jealous?
why is it that some are angry always?
why is that some always laze around
and turn to others for help
some always vie for top positions
while others watch others shine
people are many
their types vary
some are alike
some differ very much so
all have one thing in common
and that is hunger
all feel hungry
and hunger is the only feeling that can be completely satisfied
so a gift of food is the greatest of all charities
a packet of sandwiches to a homeless person
or a glass of milk given to a child
never think twice to give food to the needy
