A study conducted by University of East London in UK has found that drinking water leads to improved performance in exams.
The researchers think that consuming water lessens anxiety in students and has a calming effect, thereby helping them to do better.
Another theory is that information flows more freely between brain cells when they are well hydrated. On the other hand, being thirsty during test time can make you distracted and you might lose your focus.
So next time, you have a test or an important exam, bring a bottle of water with you along with your pens, pencils and erasers and you may boost your test score by an average of almost 5-10%.

Drinking water during exam has a positive impact on our body. Being thirsty during the test time would be a poor idea.
