I recently came across a hadith by Prophet Muhammad ï·º,in which five deadly sins and their consequences on human life were given in detail.

According to the hadith,

When vulgarity becomes common among people, new and dangerous diseases spread among them.

When people cheat in business and do not weigh goods properly, famine and drought become common.

When people do not pay zakat, the rain stops falling and that which falls is due to the animals and birds among us for Allah is Merciful.

If people openly disobey Allah and His Messenger ï·º, Allah sends foreign enemies that take possession by force.

When rulers are unjust, Allah divided them in groups and causes them to fight against each other.

If we think about our situation, we can see the effects of our sins everywhere. May Allah forgive our sins and guide us all on the Sirat-e-Mustaqeem. Ameen.
