Pakistanis should congratulate themselves on having Governments in the country which promise not only to develop industries in the country, increase the percentage of education, expand trade, develop means of communications etc. and thus bring wealth, comfort and happiness to the nation in this world only, but is also equally anxious to ensure the entry of the people into Paradise in the next world.

For such happy situation some credit also goes to the nation as it is said that people get a government they deserve. Though itself not following e Shariat Law all the same, the government desires to ensure the entry of the nation into Paradise in the next world. For this and the government has chosen to impose a 2.5 % Fee (Zakat Tax) on the nation the proceeds of which are said will be distributed by Government on behalf of the public, among the poor, needy, such of the nation, and in return to credit the blessings thus received to the spiritual account of the public. It matters little if the public not only do not obey the other Farazs, such saving of Namaz, Keeping Roza, not performing Hajj when they can afford it but also indulge in heinous sins and crimes such as corruption smugglings, Kidnapping, murders etc. etc..

The payment of Zakat Fee to government will look after all this. Thus greeting and congratulations on their good fortune to all those who are made to pay the Zakat Tax. There is a sad side of the case. Our Shia brothers whom we love as we love ourselves may get stopped at the gate of Paradise an prevented from entering there in because during their life time on earth they did not pay the 2.5 % tax to Government but instead paid Zakat money themselves personally to the poor and needy, thus obeying a Farz imposed by GOD.
